Tyler Gilbert
Serving as Design Director and President, Tyler works closely with clients and the design team to oversee each project. He brings over 15 years of expertise working in the fields of branding, architecture, and signage. His past projects include NFL, MLS, professional baseball, and major collegiate stadiums, prominent medical facilities, universities, corporate headquarters, financial institutions… and the list goes on.
Tyler excels in his ability to conceptualize and carry ideas through completion, believing each endeavor is an opportunity to create unique and memorable experiences.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, binge-watching shows & movies, playing basketball, and when the weather is good (or not so good) he’s likely on a trail in the woods feeding his mountain biking addiction.

Hunter Crawford
A graduate of Auburn University with a B.F.A in graphic design, Hunter comes to Formula Design after spending time as Art Director of a small Birmingham-based company. He brings with him a diverse skill set that includes graphic and experiential design, acquired while working with and around a number of collegiate athletic programs, including his alma mater. Hunter loves bringing his craft into the 3-dimensional space and is passionate about creating spaces to make visitors think, feel, learn, and engage. Hunter is most in his element while working away from a desk and is most comfortable with his computer and sketchpad in his lap or at a tabletop amidst Xacto blades, straight edges, pens, pencils, and markers.
Hunter is a die-hard fan of his alma mater on and off the field. He loves Les Miserables and listens to it often while working. He also enjoys spending his free time being with his wife, swimming laps, enjoying great food, doing woodworking projects, screen printing, smoking cigars, playing video games, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Hinton Bishop
A graduate of the University of Alabama in 2016, Hinton became a self-taught graphic designer while working on receiving his PR degree. Having had a creative mind since childhood, he realized an education in PR would not be enough to express his creativity. After spending many hours studying in print and digital media, Hinton was able to hone his design skills for practical use. Hinton tries every day to push the bounds of what is possible by living and thinking outside of the box. Being naturally full of pep and energy, Hinton is usually up and about before the sun. Although intimidating at times, his unusual abundance of enthusiasm makes him an invaluable asset to the Formula design team.
Hinton enjoys recreational sports and video games if he is not taking a weekend trip to visit friends. If his TV is on, he will be watching Planet Earth or The Office. Hinton prides himself on cleaning his plate and boasts that he has never once needed a to-go box. Hinton regularly finds himself correcting the pronunciation of his name for others, often going so far as to spell it out for them
